Next Meeting

In the wake of a hugely sucessful meeting, we will have the next club meeting at the same location, the Whitman Public Library on January 27th (2007!). This will be at 1:00pm on a Saturday. Unfortunately, meetings will be slowed to once (possibly twice) monthly due to school. We plan to pick up speed, back to weekly meetings during the summer months, so please be patient. If anyone needs transportation, please contact Bookworm via http://www.myowncafe.org/ on the anime/manga message board.

Meetings during school!

Currently the next club meeting is at the Halifax Holmes Public Library on Saturday, September 16th from 10am to noon. The meetings after this'll probably vary due to people's weekend schedules or suggestions on the http://www.myowncafe.org/ anime/manga topic message board. Friday nights and Saturday mornings seem to be the best options at the moment. (Seeing as school has started and most parents will flip if their children ask to attend a club meeting on a school night.) If anyone has a request for a meeting date, or cannot attend/get a ride, post on myowncafe and let me now (my screen name is Shade there too). If you're not a member of myowncafe, you'll need a library card and be between the ages of 13 and 18 to register.

Anime Manga Club

Hi everyone! There was some trouble with the official club website, so I thought we could try using a blog. (The official website is http://www.freewebs.com/good_company474.) My library's teen group has a blog and it's been working very well for us, so hopefully this will work out. Anyway, for those who don't already know, the Massachusetts Anime/Manga Club was started by some people from www.myowncafe.org. It currently meets at Rehoboth Blanding Library, Halifax Holmes Library, and Weymouth Tufts Library.
