Manga Event

Bettina Kurkoski is the published and award winning artist of My Cat Loki (TOKYOPOP). She will be coming to Tufts Library (Weymouth) for an event about the making of manga, on Saturday November 17 at 10:00am. For more information, click here.
This is not part of the Anime Club and space is limited, so if you plan on attending, you have to sign up online.

Meeting in Weymouth!

There will be an Anime Club meeting on Wednesday August 29th at 4:00-6:30pm. It will be at Weymouth Tufts Library. This will be the last meeting during the summer. (Once school starts, we will be having meetings once a month on Saturdays again.)

Return to Halifax

There will be a meeting on Friday August 24th at Halifax Holmes Library from 3-5pm. Sorry for the short notice! We will be watching Kodocha.

Summer Meetings!!!!

The summer meetings finally begin! (Yay!) On Monday July 23rd, there will be a meeting at Weymouth Tufts Library from 10am-2pm. We will be showing various AMVs and having a Pokemon tournament. Since we'll be meeting in a small room, there will be no DDR. We will also vote on what anime to watch at the next meeting. Now that we've begun, there will be frequent meetings during the summer. We're going to try to have them weekly.

Meeting in Halifax!

The next meeting will be this Saturday, May 5th, from 11:00 am to 1:45 pm at the Holmes Library in Halifax. We will be watching Black Cat. Please feel free to cosplay, but remember to keep your costumes library-appropriate. Hope to see everyone there!

Emails

A new feature has just been added to the blog! It is now possible to sign up for email updates. Just type your email address in the space to the left. Hopefully, this should make it easier for club members to keep up-to-date with events, without having to check the blog daily.

Permission Forms

Greetings all,

I've sent out all the forms to the people who have given me their e-mail addresses (except one person's whose I could not decipher) and included with the permission slips were additional forms, prompted by disorderly conduct at meetings. These additional consent forms are to maintain a suitable environs for all the members and should be signed by member and parent/guardian alike. ALL the members need to have the consent forms turned in, if not the permission forms (for those under 16) to be admitted at the next meeting. Second Meeting this Month

There will be a second meeting this month on the 24th (last Saturday of February vacation) from 1:00-3:45pm. It will be at Whitman Public Library.

Weymouth meeting

As bookworm stated the next meeting will be held in weymouth, february 10th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. We will be viewing 'Trinity Blood'. Due to the recommended age rating on this series, I will be sending out permission forms for those under 16 and gave me their e-mails at the most recent meeting. If you wish to attend this meeting and view the anime if you are under 16, you must bring a permission slip signed by a legal gaurdian. If you did not attend the most recent meeting or did not write down a usable e-mail address, send me an e-mail at symphoniafan@yahoo.com and I will send you a permission slip.

Back to Weymouth!

There will be a meeting at Tufts Library in Weymouth on Saturday, February 10th, from 1:00 to 4:00pm. The anime that we watch will be decided at the upcoming meeting in Whitman. Please come!!!
